Fisher was a famed entrepreneur of the early 1900s who literally paved the way for how we live today. Not only was he the brains behind the Montauk, Miami Beach, and the Indianapolis Speedway, but he also conceptualized the Lincoln Highway—the first US transcontinental highway joining the East and West Coasts. Having played a key part in the automotive, construction, and real estate industries, he is remembered as a true pioneer. As such, he has long been inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame.
